David Atkins is a retired New York State Police Captain who served 22 years with the New York State Police Department. Named the 2003 New York State Trooper of the Year and 2007 New York State Police Investigator of the Year, Atkins ran all state police operations for the Country of Westchester, New York, where he averaged over 400,000 911 calls annually, and was a first responder at Ground Zero on 9/11. His career included time spent on patrol, in investigations and in undercover units involved in organized crime, auto theft, money laundering and large-scale drug operations. While serving, Atkins also built a million-dollar, international business with Beachbody, where he led a team of 1,400 people. Through his success in law enforcement and business, Atkins today speaks to audiences that range from a few hundred to over 20,000 and has recently published his first book, The Leveled Up Life. He also provides one-on-one and group-based executive coaching and consulting services.
